As founder & Principal, Shawn brings more than 25 years of experience in the real estate valuation industry. He has spent the bulk of his career in the financial services marketplace with specialization in residential real estate valuation and sustainability in real estate. Some of these roles include:
- Regional Manager, North America for FirstCarbon Solutions, Inc.
- President & CEO, Valocity, a national Appraisal Management Company (“AMC”)
- Executive Vice President, Chief Strategic Officer, First American eAppraiseIT
Shawn has had the good fortune to serve the real estate valuation industry as a volunteer in a variety of capacities including:

Shawn holds a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia and is a graduate of the Executive Development Program, The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also currently holds the Fellow, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (“FRICS”) designation, and the Senior Residential Appraiser (“SRA”) designation from the Appraisal Institute.
David is a lawyer, mediator, and auditor, and has made his career in the real estate valuation industry. He was a partner in the largest real estate appraisal firm in New England in the 1980s and 1990s. The firm was purchased by First American, a multi-billion dollar corporation, as an integral part of developing a national real estate appraisal management company (AMC). David has held a variety of senior management roles, including president, in helping the AMC to grow. David also served the corporation in the realms of compliance and government affairs. He was a well-known writer, panelist and speaker for the industry.
David has recently been focusing his skills on compliance audits for foreclosure law firms. David has completed both basic and advanced courses at Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation. David is the President of ForEverCare Mediation and Legal Services, which focuses on resolving issues through negotiation and mediation rather than litigation. David has a passion for the well-being of animals, a passion for him for over 25 years.
Keith has spent his entire career in the Financial Services, Real Estate, Valuation and Property Preservation industry with a specialization in Compliance, Process Improvement, New Product Development and Systems Integration applicable to Real Estate Transactions and Residential Real Property Valuation, Marketing and Sales to support Asset Management, Automated Underwriting, Loss Mitigation, Quality Control, Vendor Management, Portfolio Due Diligence Acquisition, Portfolio Re-performing Loan Securitization, Fair Market Accounting “Mark to Market” and Loan Origination for GSE’s, FHA, Renovation Financing, Sub-Prime and HELOC platforms.
He has been lucky enough to work on the street to understand how deal makers work at the transactional level and to be in the risk committee boardroom to manage transactional and counterparty risk for single deals and entire portfolios.
His career has provided him with a very unique skill set that can be applied across the Financial Services Industry.
